Hello all, I just thought I'd share my disgust with you at Norton. I used that Windoctor program and I had a 30-day demo of Acapela's Infovox Desktop and Heather and guess what. That fucker deleted my License for the demo, plus thanks to that, I'm missin' the DLL Aca TTS Sapi 4 file. I mean, fuck, why would fuckin' Norton touch that anyway? I guess my rant would have to go to Acapela as well 'cause they didn't even bother warnin' the people that are tryin' the fuckin' products that there would be consequences runnin' Norton. But anyway, that's all I have to say, and if anybody knows where I could find that Sapi 4 thing that it's wantin' please let me know. Keep in mind that I've tried lookin' for it on Acapela's website but I couldn't find it. Anyway, later.
Wow. Norton. When you used it, did you ever get those really annoying pop-ups that just wouldn't go away no matter what you did? I got those, and I hated them. I'd be trying to do something, and that stupid thing would come up. It was like a help balloon, except that it blocked all other activity until you clicked on the OK button, but I was using JAWS8, and I couldn't do it, so I had to call in somebody sighted to get rid of it for me.
Take Norton off and swap it for Avast then. I'm doing the same with Mcafee when I get home from my BF's place as our subscription's due to expire any day now.

Norton is awful. I used it a long time ago. Try Nod32.
Take it off, and swap it for avira.
Yes, I am using their antivirous thing and I am having something similar. So, the window pops up, and no, it doesn’t bother me when working, but it’s another window. However when I try to close it, it doesn’t close, and it’s not accessible to jaws. The jaws curser, does help things, but not completely.
Avira is excellent. I use their free virus scanner, it's the most accessible one I've sen and it seems to work very well, gives you good control over what to do about potential threts. Couple that with Super Anti Spyware www.superantispyware.com, another absolutely brilliant freeware. This combination cleared my PC of a really annoying virus which AVG and AdAware had no response to (called Anti Spyware 2008).
Recommend this solution to anyone, I've heard Kaparski is good as well but see no reason to try it since this combination is working so well.
